Mora Campground Loop D
Loop D is the largest loop at Mora with 24 sites. It is wooded and well shaded. Registration, rest rooms (no showers), trash dumpsters and drinking water are located inside the loop. This loop closes in the winter. Parking for many of the campsites is limited to 24'. Several sites will accommodate medium size RVs up to 35'. Each site has a concrete picnic table and a fire ring with cooking grate. We found one animal proof food storage box in this loop, next to registration - bear cannisters are available for purchase at the ranger station, if open. It's always first come first served. The BTC pick for best site in Loop D is D58. It is close to the service area, has an ample camping/tent area and better than average parking space. |

The rest rooms are located on the west side of the loop. Paved paths lead to the loop road at the north east and south east. All services for this loop are clustered near the rest room building, including one animal proof food storage box and registration (above); drinking water (above rt); and trash dumpster (right). The beach access trail head is in Loop D. |
