Padre Island National Seashore
| Malaquite Beach and Campground are at the very northern end of Padre Island National Seashore, and only a few miles from Corpus Christi Texas. Malaquite is the only section where vehicles are not allowed on the beach. You will need four wheel drive due to soft sand and tides, but with the right equipment, driving and primitive camping are allowed everywhere south of Malaquite. |
