Loop A

There are 38 camp sites in Loop
A, 5 pull-thru sites, 3 parallel and
the remainder back-in. Site 39 is
the campground host.

My favorite sites are: pull-thru
sites: 5 ,17, 18, 28, and 29;
back-in: 20, 30; Parallel: 33. Sites
23, 24 and 25 would make a great
group site. Several sites provide 30
foot parking length.

Registration, one of the two rest
rooms, the accessible site (36),
drinking water and trash
dumpsters are located in the
center of the loop on a crossover
road. A second rest room building
and drinking water are near site 28.

One drinking water faucet - near
registration - has hose threads.

The RV dump station is on Sol Duc
Road just north of Loop A. $5 Fee.
It has a large paved parking area,
but nothing to create an organized
waiting line.

Some of the photos in this group
are a little fuzzy. Auto focus
doesn't like drizzle, rain, tall trees
and overcast skies.

Loop A Walk-in Sites

Site 29 might be the best in this loop. Good parking, a large camping area and
its close to both restrooms and drinking water.

Site 5 is on the north half of the loop. Spacious parking.
