There are 19 sites in Loop C at Mora Campground. It is
wooded and well shaded. Registration, rest rooms (no
showers), trash dumpsters and drinking water are located
inside the loop.

This loop closes in the winter.

Parking for many of the campsites is limited to 24'. A few
sites will accommodate medium size RVs up to 35'. Sites
#39 & 40 share a large parking area.

Each site has a concrete picnic table and a fire ring with
cooking grate. We found no animal proof food storage in
this loop - bear cannisters are available for purchase at the
ranger station, if open.

Sites 39 & 40 would make a great multi-family campsite
especially for families with kids. Both have trees with hollow
bases that have obviously been children's play houses many
times. Combined, the parking area for the two sites would
accomodate a large RV plus an extra vehicle or two.

The parking at C43, 52, 53 and 57 seemed better than
average - but then I was on foot so I only needed about
12 inches to park.

Driving through Loop C

I blame the poor quality of the above images on salty sea
mist on the lens, campfire smoke, haze from an incoming
late-late September cold front and a dead-locked congress.
