Forks Washington is located on Highway 101 on the west side of Olympic National Park. It's the best place for reasonably priced shopping, lodging and fresh gas on the west side of the park. There is also a commercial RV park, and many hotel/motels. Campground/Lake Crescent are about 30 miles to the north and east, Hoh Campground and Rain Forest are about 30 miles south Campground/Lake Crescent are about 30 miles to the north and east, Hoh Campground and Rain Forest are about 30 miles south and east. |

the west side of the park, check out the Thriftway. Once inside you can go from Thriftway to Forks Outfitter to Ace Hardware without leaving the building and pay for items from all 3 at any exit. This is one of the few places you can find firewood and kindling. |
