Newhalem Campground - Common Areas

visitor center, 2 large group campsites (reservable), individual picnic sites as well as group picnic sites, nice
modern restrooms, plus the river. If you are a boater, Colonial Creek is better suited for you, but there is a
boat launch about a mile from Newhalem at Goodell Campground.

from Highway 20 over
the Skagit River to
Newhalem Campground

The campground office,
registration, information
boards, and limited
parking are located a
short distance from the
bridge.

There are a number of trails in
the Newhalem area.

I could not find a printed trail map
handout at the campground.
