Staircase Trails
| We started our hike crossing the bridge for the South Fork trails. There was a map holder just as we entered the forest but it was empty. We went ahead anyway, expecting the trails to be well marked (signs). There are a number of unmarked trail intersections, at worst we have to back track right? We continued. We found a very nice suspension bridge across the river and on the other side headed down river, we had been hiking upstream. We ended up at the North Shore Trail Head near the overnight parking. Don't get lost - get a map. |
